Plan your evening on the new Today board

Today is now a board you sort, not a list you scroll. Four columns — **Tonight**, **Tomorrow**, **Not yet**, and **Needs a look** — let you plan each session by dragging cards to where they belong. Everything newly unlocked starts in "Not yet", so nothing jumps the queue until you say so.

A few touches we think you'll like:

- Your board follows you — sort it on your laptop tonight and it looks the same on your desktop tomorrow.
- Cards that would unblock the most show an **Unlocks N** badge, so the high-leverage picks stand out at a glance.
- You can flag any step as a **Quick win** (look for the ⚡) and grab one whenever you have a spare ten minutes.
- Not sure a step is actually ready? Drop it in **Needs a look** and add the missing prerequisite right from the card.

A cleaner, calmer map

Your goal map got a visual overhaul:

- Every step is now the same tidy rounded square, with bigger titles that fill the card instead of floating at the top.
- The little detail pills ($ amounts, links, checklists) stay visible as you zoom out, and the complete button moved to the corner where your thumb expects it.
- Focus mode now highlights the path through a step's prerequisites brightly — and stops popping the side panel open while you're just exploring.

Connect an AI assistant to your goals

You can now connect Claude (or any assistant that speaks the open MCP standard) to Inching. Once connected, it can read your goal trees and make changes for you — adding steps, linking what unlocks what, marking things done — all in plain conversation.

Find it under your account menu → **Connect AI assistant**, or read the [step-by-step guide](/help#connect-ai). You approve the connection first, and it works on your behalf from there.

New visitors get a clearer story: the landing page demo now matches the real app (goal on top, steps flowing up into it), and the "how to use it" section actually teaches the three moves — brain-dump, connect what unlocks what, do the one thing that's ready. The sign-in screen also stays light now, even if your device is in dark mode.
